Cameron diaz annie, Cameron Diaz signed onto the upcoming Will Smith-produced reboot of "Annie," according to reports Friday. The film will be the second collaboration between Sony and Diaz, who also starred in "Bad Teacher."Furthermore, the "There's Something About Mary" star is slated to portray Miss Hannigan in the "Annie" reboot: the same role that went to Carol Burnett in the original 1982 film, according to The Wrap.In addition to Will Smith, Jay-Z will also be producing the updated musical, which is best known for is its famous numbers such as "Tomorrow" and "Hard-Knock Life."The 1982 version of the film was adapted from the Broadway music that follows Annie, a mischievous orphan in New York City during the Depression era who is taken in by Oliver Warbucks, America's riches billionaire.Diaz joins an already-stellar cast of "Beasts of the Southern Wild" star Quvenzhane Wallis and Jamie Foxx.Meanwhile, Diaz is busy filming "The Other Women." The actress will also appear in the upcoming film "The Counselor" alongside Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem and Brad Pitt.In a recent interview, the 40-year-old actress, who is famous for her lean figure, surprised fans by admitting her favorite snack: fried pork skin."Oh, that's my favorite snack in the whole world," speaking to Elle U.K. in December. While they are known as fried pork skin or pork rinds in the U.S., the British snack is also called pork scratchings and consists of skin that has been salted, deep-fried, and served cold.Part of the process behind making pork scratchings involves burning off the pig's hair, and sometimes not all hair is removed. The unwanted addition to the snack does not bother Diaz though."Even with the bristles- I don't care, I'll do it," said the actress, according to the magazine. "It's my favorite thing."

Draft'a Bir Gün Kala Söylentiler

Bobcats GM'i Rich Cho, Cody Zeller'ı draft etmek istemesine rağmen takım sahiplerinin bu yönde hareket etmeye soğuk bakması yüzünden emeline ulaşamayabilir.Magic, Cavs Alex Len'i seçerse Nerlens Noel'i seçeceklerini duyurdu. Yedinci sıradaki Kings'in C.J.

Tour de France 2013: The Teams 14 - Equipe Cycliste FDJ

After the National Championships at the weekend FDJ will be retaining the national colours on their team, even though the rider who had them last year didn't race in the Tour. They have some great young talents and two of the French stage winners from last year in their team for 2012.Nacer Bouhanni is the young sprinter who shocked the French riders last year when he won the National Jersey. But he has worn it with honour this year without any commercial branding on his tricolour jersey. He will turn 23 in the week after the Tour, so may be chasing an early birthday present of a stage win on the Champs-Élysées. The only issue is that though is that since his debut in last year's Vuelta he hasn't completed either of the two Grand Tours he has started. In the Vuelta he has 3 top five finishes the best being 2nd on stage 10 to Sanxenxo where he was only beaten by John Degenkolb (ARG). In the Giro he also had three top five finishes a 2nd, 3rd (on the opening stage) and a 4th. But as will all sprinters in that race he lost out to Mark Cavendish (OPQ) on each occasion. He has however crossed the line five times first in that National Jersey which he has now given up to a team mate, including his first race in in Stage 1 of last year's Tour de Wallonie, as well as the opening stage of this year's Paris-Nice.Thibaut Pinot was another of those French stage winners last year. It was a stage that included 7 categorised climbs and he was cheered home by his enthusiastic Directeur Sportive for a memorable final km. He was also the youngest rider in last year's Tour and it was his debut in Grand Tours. However, he ended up in 10th place, less than a minute behind the other young French hope Pierre Rolland. He comes to the Tour after a 4th place finish in the Tour de Suisse following 12th in the Tour de Romandie. If he shows the form of last year he will have the legs to challenge for the top 10 once again, though he will not be allowed so much leeway if he attack after his achievement last year.Brazialian Murilo Antonio Fischer is the only non-French rider on this team. The 34 year came 5th in the 2005 World Championship road race behind Belgium's Tom Boonen. Having moved from Garmin this season the veteran sprinter will act as a lead out for the younger Bouhanni. It is his first time riding the Tour since 2008, and only his third appearance in the Grand Boucle. He has however taken part in 6 Grand Tours to date. His best finish in a stage of the Tour came in 2007 when on the stage to Montpellier from Marseille he came third behind Robbie Hunter and Fabian Cancellera. He will have a chance to relive that stage on 4th July.Jérémy Roy was the most aggressive rider of the 2011 Tour, getting into many breakaways and attacking from within them. In that Tour he attacked on the first stage and again on stage 4 winning his first combative prize for a stage. On the road to Lourdes, stage 13, he went on the attack again to be agonisingly caught  with only 2.5km to go by Thor Hushovd and David Moncoutié, be had however picked up enough points to pull on the polka dot jersey. He attacked again on the final stage and spent a total of 700km more than a fifth of the race in breakaways. In 2008 however, he went one better coming second of stage 18 to Montluçon as part of the two men surviving in the break, losing out to Sylvain Chavanel in the sprint.Pierrick Fedrigo is another of this team that will have the red, white and blue sleeves to his jersey having won the national title in 2005. He has four stage wins of the Tour on his palmarès the most recent last year when he beat Christian Vande Velde on the run into Pau on stage 15, one of the five won by the French last year (their best haul for some years). This will be his 10th Grande BoucleArthur Vichot shocked Sylvain Chavanel (OPQ) with a late attack in the last 2km of the  French National Road Race Championships of Sunday to keep the national colours within the team. His is another of the young talents in this team being just 24, but this will be his 4th Grand Tour. He is the nephew of a double stage winner of the Tour Fréderic Vichot. Last year he took the fifth stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné after a solo effort took him away from the remains of the six man breakaway before he struck in the last 6km. In the Tour du Haut Var earlier this season, a two day race in Provence, he won the GC, points and Young Rider classifications. At Alexandre Geniez would normally expect to be one of the youngest riders on a team, but there are of course three younger than him in this nine. He arrived this season after three years on the Shimano team. In 2011 he was 2nd in the Tour of Luxembourg his best result to date. This season he was challenging Garmin's Dennis Rohan for best young rider in the Critérium du Dauphiné, he finished 12th overall to lose out to Rohan for that jersey. This will be his home Tour debut having previously taken part in the last two season's Vueltas. In 2011 he recorded a 3rd place finish in an intermediate mountain stage from Solares to Noja. William Bonnet is another sprinter who will be helping to position Bouhanni on those flat stages. This is his 5th participation in the Tour. In the 2009 Vuelta he came second on back to back stages 15 and 16, losing to Andre Greipel in the first, beating him the following day but finding Anthony Roux was ahead of him. His best finish in a Tour stage was 5th in 2011 on the sprint to Châteauroux, coming in behind the who's who of sprinters Cavendish, Patacchi, Greipel and Feillu. One of his biggest wins to date would be the win on stage two of the 2010 Paris-Nice.Arnold Jeannesson wore the white jersey for best young rider for two days in the 2011 Tour, he ended up in 14th place on GC and 4th in the young rider classification (3rd best young French rider). He did not ride last year's Tour depite having been 6th in the GC of Paris-Nice in the run up to it, but instead rode the Vuelta and started this year's Giro. He had been showing form in the Giro including a 5th place on the tough finish to stage 4 before he was one of those riders who succumbed to the cold conditions. There is a lot of young and proving talent on this team with some older heads to help nurture that. Bouhanni has been getting close on those sprints against the big names so might well steal a stage or two from under the noses of Cavendish and Greipel. Pinot and Jeannesson are some of the brighter lights in the young French riders who could push for high finishes in the GC but there are others who are very capable of taking stages. FDJ are certainly looking to challenge in all areas, not for over all leads but certainly on almost every type of stage.

Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth

Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth, We can't get enough sightings of Reese Witherspoon and her baby boy Tennessee James! The 37-year-old Oscar winner stepped out in L.A. today with her 9-month-old son for a visit to the doctor's office for a checkup.A bigger-than-ever Tennessee looked adorable in a black and white striped onesie (not to mention his bright blue eyes and blond hair) while being carried in Witherspoon's arms. His movie star mama, who was flashing a big smile, sported blue and white paisley shorts with matching navy blue top. She completed her outfit with sunglasses and a big yellow purse on her shoulder.Tennessee must be getting adventurous as he's growing up because he was also wearing two orange Band-Aids, one on his left foot and another on his left thigh.Last week, Reese and Tennessee were snapped running errands in L.A.'s Brentwood neighborhood looking just as adorable together.Little Tennessee, who will turn 1-year-old on Sept. 27, is Witherspoon's first child with husband of two years Jim Toth. She also has two kids, Ava, 13, and Deacon, 9, with ex-hubby Ryan Phillippe."Ever since I had the baby, I can't remember anything," she told Red magazine earlier this year after giving birth to Tennessee. "Serious, this child stole my brain. I'm losing friendships over forgetting to get back to people. But you can't keep up with everything. I've got a 13-year-old [Ava], a 9-year-old [Deacon] and a baby.""It's like CNN ticker tape running through my mind at all times [puts on robotic voice]: ‘Where is Ava? She's okay. Good. Where is Deacon? He's okay. Good. Where is Tennessee? Is he okay? Yes. Great. Back to Ava...' It doesn't stop."And if Tennessee takes after his sis Ava (aka Reese Witherspoon's mini-me look-alike), he'll end up inheriting his mom's good looks for sure!

Reese Witherspoon speaks about her arrest

Reese Witherspoon speaks about her arrest, It was just one of those days for Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth. The actress spoke out for the first time regarding her April 19 arrest in Atlanta on Thursday's "Good Morning America."Her husband was charged for driving while intoxicated while the "Legally Blonde" star was booked for disorderly conduct."It's one of those nights," Witherspoon told GMA's George Stephanopoulos. "We went out to dinner in Atlanta, had one too many glasses of wine. We thought we were fine to drive and we absolutely were not. And it's just completely unacceptable. And we are so sorry and embarrassed. And we know better."Stephanopoulos asked the 37-year-old mother of three why she and Toth did not opt to call a car service of a cab.It was just poor judgment," she said. And I think we made a mistake. It's something that will absolutely never happen again. Just bad judgment."Witherspoon shocked her fans when it was reported that she played the celebrity card to get her husband off the hook by asking the cop, "do you know my name?"The 37-year-old actress goes on to continually apologize for her actions that night, saying she said "crazy things.""I agree. I have no idea what I was saying that night," she told "GMA." "I saw him arresting my husband and I literally panicked. I said all kinds of crazy things. I told him I was pregnant. I'm not pregnant! I said crazy things," she said laughing a bit."You only hear me laughing because I had no idea what I was talking about and I am so sorry. I was so disrespectful to him. I have police officers in my family. I work with police officers every day. I know better."Stephanopoulos then asked Witherspoon how she explained the incident to her children, Ava, 13, Deacon, 9, and Tennessee, who is just 7 months old."I have to say that's the hardest part about it. Having to tell our kids," she said."And just embarrassed. You have to say when you make a mistake, you have to take responsibility. And we are taking responsibility and doing everything in our power to make it right. You just have to be honest with them. That was definitely the hardest part."As far as lessons learned for the star she said, "There were so many lessons learned. Absolutely.""When a police officer tells you to stay in the car, you stay in the car," she said, giggling. "I think I've played a lawyer so many times in movies, I think I am a lawyer - and clearly I'm not a lawyer. So, I learned a lot."

Big 3 help Heat even NBA Finals with Spurs

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — LeBron James scored 33 points while playing with the aggression and ferocity that everyone expects of the four-time MVP, leading the Miami Heat to a 109-93 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night that evened the NBA Finals at two games apiece.James also had 11 rebounds and four assists and finally got some much-needed help from his struggling All-Star teammates. Dwyane Wade scored 32 points, Chris Bosh had 20 points and 13 rebounds and the defending champions made sure the series will head back to South Beach.Tony Parker had 15 points and nine assists while playing through a sore right hamstring for the Spurs, who were trying to move one step closer to their fifth championship.Game 5 in the best-of-seven series is Sunday night in San Antonio.Ray Allen scored 14 points for the Heat. Miami had 50 points in the paint after managing 32 in a 36-point loss in Game 3.Tim Duncan scored 20 points, and Kawhi Leonard added 12 points and seven rebounds for the Spurs, who turned the ball over 19 times. After setting a finals record with 16 3-pointers in Game 3, San Antonio was 8 for 16.James was an abysmal 7 for 21 for 15 points in Game 3, and he promised to be better in Game 4. He delivered on that the only way he knows how, hitting 15 of 25 shots and putting the team on his shoulders to set the tone early.Every time James snatched a Spurs miss off the glass he thundered up the court, attacking the back-pedaling defense for easy layups that simply haven't been there for him this series. He made six of his first seven shots, controlling the tempo and responding when the Spurs threatened to run away with the game in the first six minutes.Parker strained his right hamstring during Game 3, leaving many in San Antonio to fear that the big step forward they made with their win in Game 3 came at a hefty price. But Parker deemed himself "ready to go" at the team's morning shootaround and looked fine, save for a quick trip to the locker room in the fourth quarter. All the old Parker tricks were there in the first quarter — a pull-up jumper to open the game, a driving layup and then another off the pick-and-roll. Leonard then buried a 3-pointer to give the Spurs a 15-5 lead early in the game. Then James made the move the Heat have been waiting for all series. He took the ball coast-to-coast on two straight possessions during run that tied it at 19. James then hit two mid-range jumpers — an area that has been a struggle for him — to cap the 14-2 surge and give Miami a 25-21 lead.In an unusual move, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra decided to shuffle the starting lineup in the middle of a series. He inserted the sharp-shooting Mike Miller for big man Udonis Haslem in an effort to create more room for James and Wade to penetrate to the rim.Miller was 9 for 10 on 3-pointers in his first three games of the finals, but was scoreless in the game.Wade was averaging 2.7 points in the second half in the finals, but had eight in the third quarter of Game 4.Wade then finished off the Spurs with a flurry of eight straight Heat points followed by an assist to Bosh for a 94-83 lead with seven minutes to play. The Heat's Big Three scored all but three points for Miami in the fourth. If there was a common theme in the first three games, it was the curiously meek performance from James. He entered this series after perhaps the best season of his career, a versatile and efficient freight train that had taken the league and made it his own.He was out to show just how far he'd come from 2007, when the Spurs dismantled his Cleveland Cavaliers in the finals and exposed the rising star as a player who could be neutralized if he was forced to settle for jump shots. James promised that he would not be so easily contained this time around, and .565 shooting percentage during the regular season, including .406 on 3-pointers, seemed to support that theory. But the Spurs had done to him in these finals exactly what they did to him six years ago. They've clogged the paint with two big men — Duncan and Tiago Splitter — and surrounded him on the perimeter with a pack of hungry young wings led by Leonard and Green. The results had been unlike anything the league has grown used to seeing from its biggest star. James entered Game 4 averaged 16.7 points on 38.9 percent shooting. He was just 3 for 13 from 3-point range in the first three games, and even more startling, only had six free throw attempts."I'm putting all the pressure on my chest, on my shoulders to come through for our team," James said. "That's the way it is."It would be hard to find much higher stakes than Game 4 for the Heat. No team in NBA history has come back from a 3-1 deficit to win the championship.Photo: Miami Heat's LeBron James (6) is defended by San Antonio Spurs' Kawhi Leonard during the first half at Game 4 of the NBA Finals basketball series, Thursday, June 13, 2013, in San Antonio.

Islamists and Jihadis: A Cancer on the Face of the World

Islamists and Jihadis: A Cancer on the Face of the World http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/3784/islamists-jihadis by Kamel DaoudJune 24, 2013 at 3:00 am Print Send Comment RSS Share Share The salafist man finds it unbelievable that there are people who do not believe the same way he does. He considers this difference as a personal attack. He is astonished that the whole world is not Muslim and he is going to correct [this mistake].The following op-ed was originally published in French in the Algerian newspaper Le Quotidien d'Oran. Translated by Anna Mahjar-Barducci It is not going to stop, [instead] it keeps on reproducing itself in the cities of the Sahara, it becomes vocal and shouts, then kills, taking you by the throat; it destroys giant Buddhas and [people's] bodies and advances like a desert that dries out even the desert itself: salafism/Islamism/fundamentalism, the cancer on the face of the world and on the will to live. All this no longer obeys the ancient forms of the threat: it is no longer a brigade, a group or a front, but a sort of tumor: it may swell under your armpit or on the streets of London. It kills; we then arrest the killer, but we do not stop the disease. We kill the hostage taker, but not the malignant cell. And it has a banner, a sort of skein of darkness, that is waved in the dry and dead wind of a theological infinity. It is everywhere and it is like barbed wire running over your bare skin. Everywhere, as the living dead himself explains: "It is Allah who says that Sharia should be implemented." And "in Islam there is no democracy, for that would mean that people have the right to challenge Allah and to decide in His stead. This is inadmissible and one will not allow this heresy, may God protect us." Who is speaking? A dead cell, convinced that God spoke to it and that it has the right to infect a world that shines and replace it with a world that kills. Unbelievable: at first, one might think that Islamism is an ideology, a policy or a line of thought. This is a simplistic point of view -- political orthodoxy, conventional wisdom and ideas. No, we must also see through the prism on biology: It is a disease, which intends to devour the world, it is not an issue of faith and belief. A salafist man is not looking for God, but in the dark, he is after your throat. He believes that the whole world must believe the way he does and, if it does not, it is the whole world that is 'sick' and must be brought back to the right path. By persuasion or by blood. The salafist man finds it unbelievable that there are people who do not think the same way he does! He considers this difference as a personal attack. He is astonished that the whole world is not Muslim and he is going to correct this. First of all, we must stop talking about ideas: It is a disease like the Plague in the Middle Ages. It is the disease of the century, but without poetry. It is a pathology against civilization. This disease will stop only when the whole world will be a total tumor. This is what is threatening the future and frightens people down to their bowels. What eventually arrives are wars, massacres and slaughters against our children, who will have to fight a war of survival against the black flag, which is not the symbol of a "nation," but the end of nations and of the earth. For [the Islamists] all look alike, as, in general, corpses do: from Yemen to Mauritania, from London to Australia. Same hirsute look, same crazed eyes, same surreal sales pitch, same signs and anger and same convulsions of the body inhabited by a demon made of ink and verses. And all this proceeds from south to north, from your neighbors towards you. This accursed Salafi flag everywhere wants men to prostrate themselves, and explains what is right, that God has spoken, that the earth is the booty of heaven. A terrible and murderous world which intends to kill us all: us, our children, light, art, hope, freedom and the dignity of questioning. This is not a pessimistic view, just a glimpse of what is coming: salafism/Islamism/jihadism is a disease that wants to destroy the world. We must see it and treat it as such. The black flag is the abscess under the armpit of the those who are plague-ridden. A sign of death.
